Alfie Young joined roofco in May 2024 having recently graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He assists with creating 2D & 3D drawings and dealing with enquiries from clients.
Having moved to Sheffield in 2020, the technical knowledge and computer aided design skills which he picked up during his studies will hopefully progress the company further and help roofco run as efficiently as possible. Alfie is the only southerner in the team although his Yorkshire dialect is slowly improving.
Will Martin joined Roofco in Summer 2011, having previously carried out some consultancy work for the firm, and also working on sites with the sister company carrying out roofing works.
Born and raised in Sheffield, he attended Newcastle University for 4 years, gaining an undergrad master’s degree in mechanical Engineering with Management.
Will Smith joined Roofco in June 2012 to originally manage the warranties and commissions based on the activities of the expanding sales team. Since then he has used his advanced computer skills to push the company forward with 3D computer aided designs and technical drawings.
Sheffield born and bred, Will left school after sixth form and landed a job as a trainee business advisor in the city. During his time there he studied and achieved his Association of Accounting Technicians qualification. With his background in accountancy, Will has helped Roofco run in an organised and efficient manner.
